The Wall Street Journal created a short series of interviews with democratic candidates running for the 2020 presidency. The challenge of this project was to create an opening that matched the WSJ brand and was also unique and customizable. A different reporter sat down with individual candidates to discuss a particular topic. Graphics appear within the interview space using After Effects cameras with a high aperture. The purpose of this was to leave the viewer feeling like they never left the room.
